The CRONIMET Holding Group, headquartered in Karlsruhe, Germany, is a global specialist for stainless steel scrap and ferroalloys. The focus here is on returning metallic raw materials to the materials cycle through recycling and processing, thus contributing to the securing of raw materials and raw material efficiency. For more than four decades, the family business has been supplying raw materials to the stainless steel producing industry. The CRONIMET Holding Group was founded in 1980 and is now present with around 1600 employees at 75 locations worldwide.

VOCATIONAL TRAINING & DUAL STUDY PROGRAMMES AT CRONIMET

Start your career with us. Whether you join the recycling, IT or administration team, we promise you won’t get bored in a hurry. We have six different apprenticeships and three dual study programmes for you to choose from – as well as internships and taster days.

FAMILIY

We offer our staff nursery places in Karlsruhe, a 50% subsidy for nursery fees (max. 300 euros per child per month) and free online tutoring at all locations. You can even ask to bring your dog with you too.

SUSTAINABILITY

Green electricity, our own solar power and free charging points for our employees’ electric cars – these are just a few examples of our sustainable approach.

PAY

Our employees receive special bonuses and a company pension scheme. We offer an attractive pay structure, partially covered by collective bargaining agreements. 

WORK-LIFE-BALANCE

We offer flexible hours and remote working on two days a week, where possible. At most locations, the recycling team works in one or two shifts. As well as 30 days of holiday, we also offer staff the chance to bank their pay for a sabbatical.

DEVELOPMENT AND INDUCTION 

Our staff receive structured and professional introductory training and support from job mentors who are there to help in the first days and answer any questions. We encourage staff to take advantage of opportunities for personal and professional development. 

EVENTS

Success should be celebrated. The Christmas party has a new theme each year. We get together in summer too and have an international football tournament with teams from our global locations. Our teams also meet regularly for discussions and team building.

ACTIVITIES

We regularly take part in external sports events. Our staff in Karlsruhe keep fit with the company sports club and play table football or table tennis during breaks.

CATERING

We offer a range of discounted food options in Karlsruhe – whether in our excellent company restaurant or from the breakfast trolley. And, of course, we also have a fruit basket and free coffee and drinks.

OFFERS FOR STAFF
